[Image taken on 24.3.22] Black Swan, Peasholme Green, York. The public racks outside the Black Swan (www.blackswanyork.com/) are easy to find, in a location it seems people need cycle parking, and practical (Sheffields, highly visible/natural surveillance, well lit, on level ground, on hardstanding that is well drained...). Although wider apart than the standard Sheffields (100cm), they show the need for at least some spaces between the uprights to be 150cm. Plus, the rack at the end that could be used by wider rigs is too close to the tree and its ground landscaping.
