[Image taken on 24.3.22] Black Swan, Peasholme Green, York. Context and links: #180473. Note how much the cargo cycle, a Babboe (www.babboe.co.uk/), protrudes beyond the line the other cycles define. There is ample space here for longer and wider rigs not only when parked but also for the rider to manoeuvre them. However, the green cabinet limits the space ahead of the uprights of a couple of the racks. Cycles that are not self-supporting due to the number of wheels (that Babboe is a trike) or have stands: #178200 use the uprights of the racks for locking but also for support. If the racks are too close to another structure, cycles are unstable: #177272.
