[Image taken on 28.3.22] Bootham Park Hospital grounds, Bootham, York. Looking towards the obstruction on the cycle-ped-wheelchair route. The route through the former hospital grounds have been retained. Bootham Park (www.york.gov.uk/BoothamPark) is part of the Scarborough Bridge to Bootham Park cycle route improvements scheme. At this point, the grounds become dominated by car parking. There are also spaces to the right. Drivers can exit by crossing from right to left in front the camera, turning right behind the hedge (another car park) and regaining the route through the grounds beyond the gate.
