[UPDATE: #184357] [Image taken 17.4.22] Stirling Road, junction with Wigginton Road, York. Mid-April and the foliage is already encroaching and reducing the width of this shared use route (used by pupils, commuters, leisure riders, shoppers, riders from a commercial e-cargo cycle delivery company…) The width does not meet current standards for shared use even if the foliage were cut back so we need all the space we can get. Plus, though this image doesn't show it, this is a blind corner. Yet still people come fast along it arriving at the crossing point over Wigginton Road as people arrive from the second of the two-stage crossings. Another reason the foliage needs to be cut back. Other images this issue today: #181788 and links.
