Unlike the Conwy Valley line, the Holyhead trains (serving the ferry terminal) have useless cycle provision. Cycles are supposed to be put in an awkward and very small cupboard.
We had two adult and two childrens bikes - they didn't fit. If the storage area was not enclosed, like in the Conwy Line trains, they would easily have fitted in.
Given that Anglesey rightly markets itself as a cycling destination, this is very poor.
[Different types of trains work on this route - not all are so bad.]
