[Image taken 26.4.22] Wilberforce Avenue, junction with Crichton Avenue, York. This design of ramp to slow speeds is very unpleasant, disconcerting and uncomfortable on a cycle. Wilberforce Avenue is a home zone, a woonerf, a living street. There are several of these ramps in this street. I think the disconcerting and uncomfortable effect on the cyclist would discourage people from cycling. Other images here today: #182103. Other images elsewhere today: #182070 and links.
