[Image taken on 11.5.22] York Hospital, Bridge Lane, York, Since the non-motorised users entrance to A&E at York Hospital (see also: #181632) was long-term temporarily relocated to the end of Bridge Lane, at the end next to the York-Scarborough rail line, people have been necessarily ‘flyparking’ their cycles - securing them to the railings here. I've seen it on every visit. There is disabled car parking on the other side of the fencing where the white cycle with grey panniers is positioned. There is a lot of car parking to the left of there (right, out of shot) but no-one thought of providing cycle racks. This does not support people's active travel choices. It does not encourage people to change to active travel modes. And this is at a health facility. I will report it. Later image this issue: #182857. Other images today: #182555 and links.
