[UPDATE: #183630.] [Image taken 8.6.22] Coppergate, York. An example of good practice. Context: #180533. The corridor between the wands and the pavement on the left-hand side of this image was interpreted as an extension of the pavement by some pedestrians and a cyclist I saw. Adding a cycle symbol after the lit crossing (where I was standing to take the image) I hope makes it clear(er) who can use this space. Other image here today: #183405 and links.
