[Image taken 17.6.22] Deangate, York. [NOTE: The position is approximate.] I’ve taken images here before. I took this series today to show what cycle parking is/should be. The location is popular: it's by the Minster, cafes, the shopping/pedestrian area. Chances are people will have purchases they need to load. Several of the cycles are 'York' cycles set up for utility use with permanent panniers. Despite the increased width you can still get another cycle on the opposite support. By contrast, a CYC planning enforcement officer considers this acceptable: #175252. Other images here today: #183622, #183623, #183624. (Tandem/longer cycle: #183625.) Other images today and links: #183616.
