[UPDATE: 22.7.22 The speed cushion has been removed.] [Image taken 18.7.22] Terry Avenue, York. I hope all infra that makes this feel like a road rather than a safe space for non-motorised users will be removed... Trailer and trike users can find they feel unstable where there are speed cushions. For all of us we have to modify our road position to avoid going over them - which means we have to be constantly looking at the tarmac not at what is going on around us. The cushions constrain us and detract from the previous relaxed atmosphere of this special place. Note the damage in the tarmac. Between Skeldergate and just before Roomzzz hotel the tarmac has been replaced and is skating smooth. The stretch used by motorists. I hope the remainder will be resurfaced too.
