[Image taken 19.7.22] Terry Avenue, York. Terry Avenue was closed for 14 months as a through route and for safe use by people cycling, walking and wheelchairing including those heading to Rowntree Park. Its reopening as a through route for residents and visitors using active travel modes, and as a destination in itself, is cause for celebration. But no-one has thought to put up a notice (perhaps using the blank flood sign on the left) telling people they can once again get through on cycles, foot and in mobility scooters.
