[Image taken in 2018] Queen Anne Terrace car park, Gonville Place, Cambridge CB1. [NOTE: No street view in this location] This cycle parking space is with others in the Queen Anne Terrace car park (www.cambridge.gov.uk/queen-anne-terrace-car-park). The Cambridgeshire County Council employee who provided the image said: "It has a floor anchor similar to those used for motorbike parking with a stencil of a cargo bike to make clear what it is for – this stops everyone else using these spaces which we try to put in the most convenient location, on the ground floor and near the entrance/exit." This all sounds like excellent practice. There's no mention of the cycle provision on the car park website, though. I will email to ask that this is changed. There's still a lack of understanding that families and people with mobility issues need cycle parking not simply car parking.
