[Image taken 12.10.22] St Michael le Belfrey/York Minster, Minster Yard, York. Today I heard and saw this sax player on my way through and he was still there on my return. The standard of performing around the city, including at this part of Minster Yard and the spot at the Deangate end, is variable. Trevor sounded good however. He lives in Paignton. He has a camper van to cover long distances and to kip in but uses the trailer to get to and from his busking spots in urban areas. He seeks out the cycle routes. Today he used NCN65 along the river. He is heading to Edinburgh to see friends. He said the cycle infrastructure in Cardiff is excellent. Where he lives, it's not. His first trailer was for his dogs - now deceased. This newer - just six months old - rig carries all that kit. His music doesn't blow off the stand or gusts cause him to lose his place... he uses a tablet. But on days like today, wind gets into his microphone and causes unwanted noises. Other image today and links: #186618.
