[UPDATE: I saw earlier this week the Diversion sign had been removed following my reporting it. The sandbag and the other sign were still here on the afternoon of 6.1.22] [Image taken 31.12.22] Ratcliffe Street, York. Abandoned/mislaid temporary signs. How I hate these. They add danger when they fall, when they obstruct paths and cycle lanes, can be used as weapons or to cause damage, and they look unsightly. They also seem to 'collect' litter. They cost money so why don't they get numbered (tagged even) as part of a scheme and traced and removed at the end? I'll report these. I think they were part of a diversion for gas works on Burton Stone Lane in November 2022: #187655. (I took the can home to put into my recycling bin.) Other image this issue today: #188986. Other image today and links: #188984
