[Image taken 25.1.23] Shipton Street junction with Burton Stone Lane, York. Centreline tarmac damage and potholes at a junction. All of this is a serious problem for people cycling. At any location. But the high speeds, and low standards of driving or responsibility of motorists on Burton Stone Lane increases the need for the road surface to be intact and safe. This looks like damage caused by water ingress and freezing. But it looks like new tarmac. Other image today and links: #190043.
