[UPDATE: See note on: #190584] [Image taken 1.2.23] Skeldergate, (looking towards the junction with Micklegate and Bridge Street), York. Who are the intended users of this channel? Cyclists in this direction only? (There’s no help signage-wise on the other side of the junction - North Street – for people on cycles wanting to reach Skeldergate. If you can’t get off and push - as many people who use a cycle as a mobility aid cannot - you’d have a circuitous and uphill route. If you managed to find it.) Or is it intended for people in wheelchairs/mobility scooters who cannot use the narrow pavement obstructed by the temporary sign? Other image here today and links: #190584.
