[UPDATE: Week commencing 6.3.23 the full width of BSL here was resurfaced] [UPDATE: An email from CYC dated 3.3.23 says: "I’ve checked this with my colleagues and I can confirm that the area you’ve highlighted is included within our forthcoming patching schedule for a patch at full carriageway width."] [Image taken 14.2.23) Burton Stone Lane (looking north) just after the junction with Field View. The repair only covers some of the damage. Or have the three new holes (marked by the shorter red boxes in my image) developed since this recent repair? Burton Stone Lane needs completely resurfacing. And not treating the carriageways separately ie creating a gulley longitudinally down the road’ (as indicated by the longer red box in my image) but ‘whole width in one go’. It is an unsafe (not simply unsafe-feeling) route for people who cycle due to the speeds of motorists; the size of the vehicles (see: #183803); the number of drivers; the 'type' of traffic which includes delivery drivers for/from the takeaways who may not be local and so not care about the locality (see: #191134), or may infrequently if at all experience walking or cycling here. The carriageway is also used by people in mobility scooters as: drivers park on the pavements and verges of this road and streets around; there is just one formal crossing space for the entire length; there are few formal (aligned) drop kerbs...
