[Image taken 20.2.23] Wigginton Road (east side), York. Entry to/from the Wigginton Road Link (as I call it) a shared use route between Wigginton Road and the Foss Islands Path. [NOTE: On 10.3.23 at a meeting in situ, Sustrans said, despite the sign, this is not their land.] Currently the only permitted route for cyclists other than using the busy, congested narrow Wigginton Road to get to Crichton Avenue. I believe there is a need and a case for offering a more direct alternative. (See previous captions.) Other image here today and links: #191269.
