Bridge street in the morning rush.
I count 21 people cycling in this photograp, one bus (nearly empty), no cars.
If those people were in cars the queue would be nose to tail, over 100m long. I made a 40 second video and counted 47 bikes, one bus, one car and two empty taxis. Again if those 47 cyclists had driven the queue would be backing up all the way to Chesterton Road.
That is why we should be doing everything to encourage people to cycle instead of driving
