Trafford near Manchester. Sale Water Park 5 cycle lockers. Also there are 5 cycle stands adjacent.
Why no dropped kerb for cycles wanting to access from or to the road ? There is nothing within the lockers to lock the bike frame to.
One good thing: the police are often there when the butty trailer is there ! (Temptations )
3 of the 5 lockers are unusable, the lock has seized on 2 (nearest the tram stop) and the middle one has a non standard lock with no bike in. All the lockers have rubbish in them and a couple have builder's/roadworker's rubbish in.
Have asked Metrolink to arrange for the lockers to be checked and fixed ?
I suggested a warning notice is posted on the non standard lock to allow the owner to replace the original lock and remove theirs (when empty).
I've asked Metrolink how often these lockers are inspected by Metrolink staff ?
