[Image taken 23.3.23] Bootham, York. Gates closed despite the sign (see: #191000) and the need. In the minute I was here four people on cycles exited that narrow gate on the right. No sightlines for anyone. No lights to enable them to know when it was safe(r) to cross this junction. This is part of the Scarborough Bridge to Bootham Park cycle route improvements scheme #177537. The site was to be redeveloped part of which included facilities for the public.
