[Image taken 8.4.23] York Minster Refectory, Deangate, York. [NOTE: No street view at this location] There are 18 Sheffields at this newly opened (on Thursday 6 April 2023 by King Charles III (yorkmix.com/30-pictures-the-sun-shines-on-the-king-and-queen-as-they-return-to-york/) restaurant and public space (yorkmix.com/pictures-yorks-newest-restaurant-is-looking-good-ahead-of-its-royal-opening/). That should equate to 36 spaces. But the installer/area designer(s) has/have not recognised the importance of the end spaces (see: #192823) plus where two of the rows intersect they are too close (see: #192823). Further, I didn’t get a good image due to the light, I will try again – the end where you wheel your cycle into the parking area – the outside of the farthest rack in this image, ie closest to the railings, and the nearest rack in: #192822 – is too close to the entry/exit route. Other image here today and links: #192818.
