Photo #194422

[4.6.23 Thus section remains uncleared. Ditto: #194874 Other sections of the path may have been swept.] [Image taken 27.5.23] Wigginton Road, York. Illustrates why infra needs to be planned... in this case so cleaning of the route can take place. The tarmac is deteriorating - breaking up. The grit is a skid hazard that is washed/blown onto the path/cycleway alongside. The vegetation is damaging the tarmac. Could the site entrance sign be attached to the pole? Won’t fall over. Doesn’t need the sandbag. (Sandbags can be a trip hazard and when they spilt, the contents become a skid hazard.) Other image here today and links: #194420.
