[Image taken 29.5.23] Deangate, York. These racks are Sheffields - tick. They are well-placed for the city centre - tick. But they are of the toastrack design ie they have linking rails - you have to lift your cycle over them when entering and again when exiting the racks - cross. The gap could be made wider between the two sets of racks to create two end spaces for longer cycles or groups sharing locks. And the gap could be marked with logos designating them for disabled users or families - missed opportunity. Other image here today and links: #194589.
