[Image taken 25.7.23] Haxby Road, York. [NOTE: No street view at this exact location.] Turn off to/from Haxby Cycleway… but cyclists don’t exist. Though it’s the cycle route that’s blocked. In this direction (southbound) you need to cross Haxby Road and use the carriageway towards New Earswick, the city centre... But the works would obstruct a road user's view of you and your view of anyone approaching. Northbound, ie from the carriageway the other side of the works towards the camera position it's not clear if the access to the cycle lane is (still) open - until you get very close to it.
