All the cycling-related problems of previous years with the Cambridge On Ice development have in my view been solved, which is great.
Good quality, secure cycle parking is now provided (they also have some rubbish wheelbenders, but (unsurprisingly) no-one is using them - it would be best if the developers just removed those racks).
The development is now 1m clear of the path, and also the services for the development have been laid under the path. And there is no blind corner at Reality Checkpoint, as the market is in a more sensible position.
All of these things were compromise suggestions previously made by Cambridge Cycling Campaign, so shame they were not taken up by the developer in previous years. Third time lucky!
