This is some road works for the installation of the cycle hire scheme on Queen Victoria Street eastbound just south of St Pauls Cathedral. Ironically there is a sign telling cyclists to dismount, which will make drivers get annoyed if they are held up by cyclists since they are not "obeying the temporary traffic sign".
