The cycle lane is temporarily closed. The 'Cyclists Dismount' sign is enormous!

There is no need for the barriers between the road and the footpath (it's quite common for paths to be directly beside a road!), they are obstructing visibility along the path and the "feet" are jutting out causing problems for anyone visually impaired.

A cyclist pushing their bike along this path will be far wider and more of a nuisance than a bicycle being ridden at sensible speed.
