I often note bad practice on this road, so I thought it appropriate to show, and thank, this driver for their good road behaviour.

As I'm riding up, the road ahead is not entirely visible. The driver slows behind me, makes sure it is clear to pass, then gives me plenty of space for the relative speed of passing. This probably delayed the driver by a second or so, but it madea vast amount of difference to my safety.
