Cycle route signs for:
- Great Stour Way, the traffic-free riverside cycle path to the village of Chartham which forms part of National Cycle Route 18. Beyond Chartham NCR18 reaches Wye, Ashford, Tenterden, and Royal Tunbridge Wells via quiet roads. The marking of "(18)" is a minor mistake; it shouldn't have parentheses since this is part of NCR18, rather than leading to it.
- Canterbury City Centre and Wincheap (turn right then cross the bridge shortly thereafter).
The Westgate Gardens walking route is to the right, but to cycle there follow the path ahead.
