Cycle route signs for:
- Westgate Gardens (Turn right);
- Canterbury West railway station (Turn right);
- Crab & Winkle Way (Turn right). The Crab & Winkle Way forms part of National Cycle Route 1;
- Wincheap (About turn, pass around car park);
- Great Stour Way (About turn, pass around car park). The traffic-free riverside cycle path to the village of Chartham which forms part of National Cycle Route 18. Beyond Chartham NCR18 reaches Wye, Ashford, Tenterden, and Royal Tunbridge Wells via quiet roads.
Canterbury City Centre is best reached by following the signs towards Westgate Gardens. This will meet the city centre near the historic Westgate Towers.
