I heard the first car, which was very loud, but then was pretty shocked by the speed of the second in a narrow road with limited visibility. At the end of this short straight, it's a village centre and a 30mph limit.

I'm also not sure why this road goes up to a 40mph limit for less than half a mile between two villages with a large amount of cycle traffic.
