Heading down the High Street and Mill Way is usually a crowded experience in summer. Lots of visitors parked up. This means there is pretty much no space for anyone to overtake me. Either the roadspace is down to just over a lane's width, or there is no space to speed up and slow down before the next restriction (including corners).

I do around 20-25mph down here. A car can't do anything more than that because of the restrictions. So, don't try to pass like

A car followed me down today, not always close behind me. Once we were at the bottom I looked ahead and before they could see roudn the bend I beckoned them through whilst pulling aside and stopping pedalling. I could see more. A good turn deserves another.
