Another reason why shared paths are avoided, big puddles such as this!

Now, in my cycling gear and knowing the path surface under the puddle, this is a little fun to me. If you cycle down here and don't know that there isn't a pothole in the middle of it, if you are wearing clothes that are for your day and not your transport choice, puddles such as this are likely to put you off cycling.

Finally, one of the grating irritations about this is that the puddle is created because there is vehicle access across it, creating a low point that pools surface water from a large area.
