There is officially a cycle path from Carter Lane across Carter Lane Gardens (!) to Cannon Street about here. The only official indication is a wooden post on the kerbside of Cannon Street about 5m west of the bus stop. It has a blue cycling sign on one side; the signs on the other sides have fallen off. There is no indication on the pathway itself. Needs resigning.
BTW the designation of the western end of the (one-way) Carter Lane as two-way for cycles is excellent. At least it would be if there weren't so many of my colleagues blocking the road outside the Rising Sun.
