"WTF!!!!" I often hear myself quietly murmur at this spot. I lost count how many white van drivers and taxis narrowly missed me when they impatiently overtake me, or drive too close when Farringdon Street opens up to 3 lanes and I, counting my luck, escaped early death once again. 3 lanes of traffic seem to invite motorists to accelerate past cyclists. Ideally I would like to see traffic giving priority to cyclists so that they can safely get a head start. In order for all road users to co-exist a positive change of behaviour towards cyclist is a good start.
