The area of High Road Woodford Green from the junction of Broadmead Road to Woodford New Road needs addressing. All approaches to this mini gyratory are single carriageway, so the multi lanes that are in place for only a few hundred metres are completely unnecessary but encourage driving at very high speeds for very short distances. Travelling nortbound, the round widens to three lanes before the junction with Chingford Lane, the left lane being for left turn only results in many vehicles cutting across you to turn left. Then beyond Chingford lane two very narrow lanes. Coming southbound from Chingford lane junction are two lanes and after the lights change vehicles routinely travel at 50-60mph ( limit is 30) for a very short time and it's scary. It would make sense to return to all routes as two way, but at the very least restrict all directions in this area to single carriageway for motor vehicles and use extra space for cycle lanes
