Just above the 4 in the 2542 is a rear facing camera, capturing the nearside view of this truck.

Images are visible inside the cab on a screen placed at the top centre of the windscreen. See #45302.

This is part of a project by the Mineral Products association to look at technological options to cutting the number of cyclists killed in collisions with lorries.
