Cambridge City Council has just replaced the grippy surface on this boardwalk by the river Cam between Stourbridge Common and Ditton Fields.

This is on a major, signed, cycle route (National Cycle Route 51) though consideration appears not to have been given to cyclists when deciding on the specification for the new surface. The council have made the path very bumpy
