I often ride at lunchtime for a bit of time outdoors. I choose routes that avoid roads, especially busy ones, as much as possible. Today it was a combination of radwagon.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/a-13-mile-central-cambridge-disco.html and radwagon.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/another-10-mile-central-cambridge.html. However, this still doesn't stop motoring offences appearing on my camera.

Today I was astounded by the volume of ASL abuse I saw, at a quieter time of the day. And then threw in some of regular abuses also completely ignored by the police despite the danger they present.

The first, opposite me a car clearly slowly pulls into the ASL. (Please note I just pass the stop line of the cycle lane entrance here as the button to get the lights to change is beyond the white line!).

I think the next clip is the same car, but can't be sure. I see the primary schoolchildren and pull out a bit to give space for accidental movements. At the same time, the driver tries to get past before the crossing but misjudges our relative speeds. The driver then accelerates on down the 20mph limited road. On video frame analysis against the map, they average 25mph from the crossing.

Then two more ASL Abuses bookending Gilbert Road.

And finally a beyond the stop line and ASL abuse at Brookfields.
