Inside the cab of a demo Sainsbury's demo truck.
Mirrors on the nearside show the side of the vehicle and in front of the windscreen the curved mirror shows what lies immediately in front of the vehicle. The screen shows views collated from four cameras fixed to each side of the vehicle. The left part of the screen currently shows the rear view, but changes when the indicators are set to turn left or right. The right hand side of the screen shows a view effectively looking down on the vehicle from above - it is made by joining together the four camera images - quite a neat idea I think.
The vehicle has a number of proximity detectors and when an object is within range a loud voice warns the driver.
