Carrington Moss
There is potential for various north-south rights of way from NT land to the new Carrington developments
Why is @HIMOR_Group trying to shut a well-used & safe foot/cycle/horse route in Carrington? @Cyclinstructor @GMcycling @GBCycleEmbassy see also #89811 #94589 closure is between barrier on Isherwood Rd and training ground entrance. Are the security staff stopping non-motorised traffic illegally ? It's a restricted byway on southern half @RamblersGB @RamTraff @tom_a_jeffs @GMcycling @HIMOR_Group the part down from Sinderland Road to Birch Moss Covert (just the other side of Utd's entrance) is a bridleway so they can't stop people using that. Anyone who uses this road gets in touch to complain.

According their web site:
1) Socially inclusive and diverse
2) Energy efficient
3) Economically stable
4) Designed to provide for the amenity and recreational needs of residents !!!
5) Supported by a sustainable transport framework !!!
6) Phased over time to adapt and respond to changing circumstances.

All these statements are proved untrue or dubious by this action especially 4) and 5)

Similarly, these images of HIMOR plans show cyclists and many pedestrians. Their actions appear to discourage such activities. Right of Way contact at Trafford council: or 03330 035865
