UPDATE 17 JAN 2018 reported to Trafford again ID request 867329 HISTORY reported on fix my streets 19 Nov 2016 www.fixmystreet.com/report/929446 -it's a lot worse now. UPDATE 19TH NOV 2017 Carrington near Manchester. The hedges are not cut back sufficiently. It is the vulnerable road users that are particularly hard done by but even drivers will be shocked at the views of hidden signs.
View looking E: The road is being torn up and potholed by passing trucks. Cyclists cannot safely ride here and are forced into road (the path and verge are very narrow in parts see #90029 ) .
View looking W: Torn up and potholed road , this driver is giving not enough room but more than most. Cyclists cannot safely ride here and are forced far out into road. Drivers have little patience and when they do pass they give a punishment sometimes accompanied with a loud horn ad rude gestures.
View looking E: The road is being torn up and potholed by passing trucks all the way along here.
On the sections where it isn't potholed veg creep and overhanging branches force cyclists far out into the road. Those that don't risk injury of scratches and eye damage – the shock may result in cyclist swerving into path of following vehicle. Nevertheless drivers have no patience for cyclists that take a safer path – some professional drivers of heavy vehicles are very bad some are very good though.
A double whammy of overhanging branches and dreadful road surface.
There are important warning order and direction signs hidden in these bushes somewhere.
