While the replacement of the previous chicane here with a simple bollard is very welcome, being located in the shadows with no street lighting doesn't make this bollard very visible - especially bad heading from Beedling and turning right at this point on a bright day (i.e. when you've been riding towards the sun with sunglasses on, and suddenly turned into shadow with the bollard out of you sight line until you've straightened up). Dread to think what visibility of this would be like on a wet winters night!
