Newly widened path to the right of the fork. To the left the handrails have recently been installed as part of the Arena redevelopment, needed for walkers but an obstruction for cyclists - especially as the path to the left will be Route 5 and is a steep uphill. Most cyclists end up on the wrong side of the path - directly in the path of oncoming cyclists. Probably not too much of an issue if the proposed route behind the arena materialises!
