A very cycle friendly approach to traffic calming.
Not perfect, the bypass cycle lanes are too short and are often obstructed by vehicles parked immediately beyond the end, or by drivers who ignore the marked stop line and (illegally) pull forward and into the mandatory cycle lane while waiting for oncoming traffic.
Despite these reservations it is a very positive traffic calming scheme.
