Are these homes designed for cars or for humans?

The 'local centre' is mainly just a giant supermarket with an even bigger car park. This is not walk or cycle friendly.

There is so much car parking provision along this street that it looks more like a linear car park.

Pointless barriers on the cycleway from Great Kneighton to Hauxton Road - the road is a quiet dead-end, and could easily give way to this useful cycle route.

Cut-through to Addenbrooke's Road - shown as a cycleway on OpenCycleMap but not wide enough for a new development.

Trumpington Busway looking NE, behind Cranleigh Close. Over 1m could easily be added to the width of the path by surfacing up to the cages.

It's not clear whether this will remain a traffic-free cut-through - it could do with improving anyway.

Pleasant environment with cars out of sight.

Where's the cycle parking? Trumpington Meadows is so close to the busway, but it's a typically car-oriented development, alas.

novo development of 286 dwellings at Great Kneighton. Provides two Sheffield stands at its sales office.

House builders like using bicycles in their advertising, unfortunately the facilities on the ground often don't match this enthusiasm.
