Anyone wanting to avoid the traffic on Argyle Street by using the route in #113424 is faced with this poor quality back lane to get to Corunna Street. Watch out for glass!

A back lane between Victoria Park Gardens South and Marlborough Avenue signed as a recommended route for cyclists. There is a gate across part of the width of the lane (just visible) to stop through motor traffic.

Fern Lane is well surfaced (for a back lane) and has a single bollard to prevent through motor traffic, making it a useful alternative to the busy Crow Road..

A continuous footway, Glasgow style! The concrete surface is all cracked up, with a couple of potholes filled already, and an advertising board, facing motor traffic, blocks most of the width of the footway.

The Morton Park cycle route uses this back lane until the first turning on the right.

NCN1 sign directing users down this narrow alleyway.

Route 2 in Kildrum.

Cobbled backlane cycle route off of Regent Park Square.
