After objections, the Fastlink busway carriageway over the Clyde Arc bridge will now permit cycling. But the plastic barriers at each end will only be removed once the buses are due to start running.

Old barriers at Kelvindale Road crossing on Kelvin Walkway replaced by new barriers, slightly further apart. The old barriers are shown at: #45335.

See clip at http://youtu.be/gOeMarpER4A Some of the barriers have been removed to make this route accessible by cargo bikes and child carriers. About time, given it goes to a local primary school!

See clip at http://youtu.be/gOeMarpER4A This is the cut through to Teversham Drift which keeps you away from the awful High Street environment. The barriers make it difficult for cargo bikes and child carriers. And there's no drop kerb.

Have to say that Enfield displays quite the worst traffic engineering I have seen anywhere! Clutter and waste amazing http://t.co/iWbA37QMhr

Elephants footprint crossing leads cyclists onto a cycle lane on the wrong side of a dual carriageway.

Some serious bollards on NCN 881 between Porth and Trehafod. No good for cargo bikes or trailers, and getting through "normal" bikes is a squeeze. I give up trying to get my road bike through and went via the road,

Since http://www.cyclestreets.net/location/11854/ this route has been updated. And very badly. Bishops Road is a quiet cul-de-sac and this is almost at the end of it. Passing traffic will be virtually nil and will be very slow. Howeve ... [more]

Stupid Greenway barriers that should be banned Location: East Ham, London (England, United Kingdom)

Visibility has been improved on this section of riverside pathway (NCN Route 51) since several obstructive barriers have been removed and vegetation been cut back. It would be improved still further if all the barriers were removed.

The end of Cantley Lane. Although this is identified as a cycle route, no provision for cycle access has been made though these barriers. The footway needs to be dropped and the surfacing continued through the barriers. Worse lies ahe ... [more]

It is a good concept - using a toucan crossing to link Cow Drive (leads to UEA and the hospital) to The Avenues (for the city centre) - but poor execution. Just look at all of those barriers seperating cyclists, pedestrians and road traf ... [more]

This location was set by synchronization with the track at location #18657. This horrible barrier creates an annoying an rather unnecessary hazard for those with buggies or wheelchairs, or just carrying stuff.

Proper use of armco barriers to keep cyclists on the bike path safe. A view of this path with a cyclist for scale is shown in #11783. The path is four metres wide.
