A poor quality path, with a hump, at a crossing with a track at Dalnottar.

This is one of the reasons that there's the alternate route round, meandering off for 400m to the north. However, it's still a cyclepath, I'm not minded to have a slow wander round the nice back route as I want to get on.

The blocks in the gutter have all shifted and now the rest of the road surface in the contraflow cycle lane is starting to deteriorate.

Directions in the Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park are by way of these stone blocks. It wasn't obvious to me at the time which way was which, but I see from the map that it gives the name of a nearby street on one side.
